THORNOVA SOLAR INTRODUCES 720W G12 TOPCON MODULES FOR UTILITY-SCALE PROJECTS

Thornova Solar is launching a new TOPCon module series exclusively for utility-scale projects. Based on the larger format G12 silicon wafers, the TS-BGT66 and TS-BWT66 modules offer power outputs ranging from 695W to 720W, with conversion efficiencies from 22.4% to 23.2%.

Thornova Solar Maintains Bloomberg NEF Tier 1 Ranking Amid Stricter Rules

In the First Quarter 2024 Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) report, Thornova continues to rank as a Tier 1 module manufacturer, despite the stricter requirements as of January 2024. While 43% of module manufacturers were removed from the list, Thornova and its parent company, Sunova Solar, maintained their standing.

Thornova TOPCon modules were featured in Solar Power World’s Top Solar Panels of 2023, released at the end of December. Thornova modules for both residential and utility-scale applications were included in the guide, reflecting the growth of TOPCon technology for both markets.
