Thornova Solar’s Tangra M Pro 580 N-Type Module Successfully Completes Full Suite of Kiwa PVEL Reliability Tests

Thornova Solar’s high-efficiency Tangra M Pro 580Wp N-Type bifacial module has successfully passed all major Kiwa PVEL reliability tests — demonstrating less than 2% power degradation in each sequence. The results confirm the module’s outstanding mechanical and environmental durability in demanding environments.

Fremont, CA, USA – July 31, 2025 – Thornova Solar is pleased to announce that its Tangra M Pro 580Wp N-Type bifacial dual-glass modules have successfully completed the full suite of reliability tests conducted by Kiwa PVEL, one of the industry’s most respected third-party PV testing laboratories.

The modules, produced at Thornova's Indonesia facility for the U.S. market, demonstrated exceptional stability with less than 2% degradation in all test categories — a strong indicator of long-term performance and reliability. The same Bill of Materials used for this batch is available for production at Thornova’s other facilities serving the EMEA and APAC regions.

Passed Kiwa PVEL Test Sequences:

· TC600 – Thermal Cycling (600 cycles between -40°C and +85°C)

· DH2000 – Damp Heat (2000 hours in high humidity and temperature)

· MSS – Mechanical Stress Sequence

· PID192 (-) and PID192 (+) – Potential Induced Degradation (negative & positive bias)

· LETID324 – Light and Elevated Temperature-Induced Degradation

· UVID120 – Ultraviolet-Induced Degradation (120 kWh/m² UV dose)

Backed by a 30-year linear performance warranty, the module offers excellent low-irradiance response, a low thermal coefficient, and strong resistance to PID, LETID, and UV exposure — as validated by Kiwa PVEL's testing.
